On Saturday (April 8) at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, Rajasthan Royals (RR) will play Delhi Capitals (DC) in the eleventh game of the IPL 2023. This is the second encounter of the season to be played in Guwahati. In their previous match at this venue, the Royals were defeated by the Punjab Kings while pursuing a target of 198 runs.
Each has won and lost one game to this point. In the first match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, the Royals scored 203 runs in 20 overs while losing five wickets. Shimron Hetmyer scored 36 runs off of 18 bowling deliveries. Dhruv Jurel was the hero of the match for the Royals. The rookie made an immediate impact by scoring 32 runs off of 15 deliveries. Although the Royals lost the contest, they discovered in Jurel a player capable of playing ridiculous shots.
The Capitals have played and lost two games thus far. In their first match against the Lucknow Super Giants, the Capitals were unable to hunt down the 194-run target and fell short by 50 runs. In their second match against the Gujarat Titans, the Capitals scored 162 runs in 20 overs despite losing eight wickets. David Warner, Sarfaraz Khan, and Axar Patel each scored approximately 30 runs.
The Titans' pursuit got off to a poor start, as they lost three wickets in the first six overs. Sai Sudharsan and Vijay Shankar gave the Titans tremendous assistance. Together, they contributed 53 runs to the fourth wicket and enabled the Titans surpass 100 runs.
David Miller, who was playing his first game of the season, and Sudharsan finished the contest for the Titans. Miller scored 31 runs unbeaten off 16 deliveries, while Sudharsan scored 62 runs unbeaten off 48 deliveries. For his batting performance, Sudharsan received the Player of the Match award.

This will be an afternoon game, so dew may not play a significant factor. The Punjab Kings demonstrated in the first game played at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium that accurate bowling can win games despite the dew component.
