MLC 2023: Grand Prairie Stadium ready to host inaugural match of tournament
The landmark event will also feature an array of entertainment and pageantry, including an innings break drone show.
On Thursday, a historic evening for American cricket will take place before a packed audience in North Texas. Grand Prairie Stadium, the new preeminent cricket venue in the United States, is now sold out for the inaugural Major League Cricket match. At 7:30 p.m., the Texas Super Kings will face the Los Angeles Knight Riders, with both teams featuring international cricket superstars and the finest domestic talent.
The historic event will also include a variety of amusement and pageantry, such as an innings break drone show showcasing the league's six teams, an aerobatic aerial display from a GB1 GameBird, and a post-game fireworks display to cap off the opening night of Grand Prairie Stadium.
Co-founder of Major League Cricket Sameer Mehta stated

Grand Prairie Stadium will host eleven additional matches in the inaugural American professional cricket championship from July 13 to July 30, while Church Street Park in North Carolina will host seven games.
