When World Cup 2023 Ticket Sale Will Go Live ?
As per the reports ticket for World Cup 2023 will go on sale by August 10 with some changes in the schedule.
A few months before the eagerly awaited ODI World Cup 2023, cricket fans would be giddy with anticipation to see the world's finest teams compete for the coveted title. Moreover, with the announcement of the schedule, ticket sales are anticipated to commence very shortly.
The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) reportedly solicited input from all parties in order to determine the ticket price for the marquee event.
The report also indicated that online ticket sales will go live by August 10 and that the schedule will have been modified by that date. Recently, Jay Shah, the secretary of the BCCI, announced that adjustments to the World Cup schedule would be implemented very soon, as up to three full member nations have requested alterations to the itinerary.
"Three members have requested a schedule change by letter to the ICC. Only the dates and times will be altered; the locations will remain unchanged. If there is a gap of six days between events, we aim to reduce it to four or five days. In three to four days, all will be made obvious. Changes will be made in consultation with the ICC, Shah was quoted by India Today as saying.
Jay Shah met with the state associations in New Delhi on Thursday, July 27. During the meeting, he requested that the state organisations share their finalised ticket prices with the board by July 31. In addition, he recently stated that fans would need physical tickets in order to enter the stadium, and that the board would make it simple for them by establishing multiple ticket collection points in the host cities.
