No fans for PAK vs New Zealand warm up game in Hyderabad. Know Why ?

No spectators will be permitted to attend the ODI World Cup 2023 warm-up game between Pakistan and New Zealand that will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International stadium in Hyderabad, according to a recent announcement.

The absence of security coverage has been cited as the reason why fans cannot attend. Due to the ever-changing schedule of the events and their conflicts with the various celebrations, the problem of inadequate security coverage arose. In addition, the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) will instruct BookMyShow to issue refunds to fans who have already purchased tickets for the event.

An official of the BCCI stated the same thing. "The game will be played without spectators, and those who have purchased tickets will receive a refund," the official was quoted as saying by The Indian Express.

The Hyderabad police had informed the Hyderabad Cricket Association about the paucity of personnel that would be present on the day of the match, and had even requested that the match be postponed. However, the original strategy appears to be in motion. If the events are played according to the original schedule, stadium access will be restricted.

Multiple questions have been expressed regarding the two consecutive ODI World Cup 2023 matches in Hyderabad on October 9 and 10. The first match will be between New Zealand and the Netherlands, with Pakistan and Sri Lanka taking center stage on October 10.

Due to the large number of personnel (3000) that will be deployed for a single match, a substantial number will also be present at the hotel where the Pakistan cricket team will be residing. Up to nine World Cup events have been rescheduled as a result of the World Cup's constantly shifting schedule. On October 5, the marquee event will commence in Ahmedabad, with England and New Zealand facing off against one another.
