Major League Cricket 2023: Finn Allen joins San Francisco Unicorns
Speaking about their campaign, San Francisco Unicorns play their first match of the season against MI New York in Texas, on July 14.
Prior to the inaugural season of the Major League Cricket (MLC), the San Francisco Unicorns shared on social media a recording of the New Zealand batsman Finn Allen, who has been signed by the franchise. Notably, Texas Super Kings and Los Angeles Knight Riders will face off in the opening match on July 13 at Texas's Grand Prairie Stadium.
Finn Allen expressed his enthusiasm about joining the Unicorns in advance of the inaugural season of the premier league as players began reporting to their respective training camps. The San Francisco Unicorns shared his clip and message with the competition's supporters via their Twitter account.
"Hello everyone, this is Finn Allen! In July, I will be participating with the San Francisco Unicorns in the inaugural season of Major League Cricket. It will be a thrilling experience to play cricket in America. I hope to see you all shortly in Texas. "Go, Unicorns!" Allen said in the Twitter-posted video.
The batsman has appeared in 28 T20Is for New Zealand, scoring 616 runs with two half-centuries and one century. San Francisco Unicorns season begins on July 14.
Speaking of their campaign, the San Francisco Unicorns play their first game of the season on July 14 against MI New York in Texas. Notably, former Australian captain Aaron Finch will head the franchise in the MLC's inaugural season.

Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf were recently signed by the franchise after obtaining approval from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), as they are not part of Pakistan's Test squad for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.
In the meantime, Corey Anderson, Matthew Wade, Liam Plunkett, and Marcus Stoinis will play for the franchise in the 2023 MLC. In addition, Shane Watson is a member of the organization as the head coach of the Unicorns.
