LSG beat RCB by 1 wicket in high-scoring thriller

Mohammed Siraj gave Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) a perfect start after explosive 50s by Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, and captain Faf du Plessis propelled them to 212/4 against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Monday. Wayne Parnell then dismissed Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya within the same over, extending Lucknow's deficit in the match. Marcus Stoinis (65 runs off 30 balls) and KL Rahul (18 runs off 20 balls) helped LSG recover from early setbacks by adding 76 runs for the third wicket.
However, both set batsmen were dismissed in rapid succession, passing the baton to Nicholas Pooran, who smashed 62 runs off 19 balls to give LSG the advantage. Jaydev Unadkat and Ayush Badoni are batting in the middle. Earlier, Kohli and Du Plessis provided RCB with a sturdy foundation by adding 96 runs for the first wicket. In the 12th over, Amit Mishra ended the partnership by dismissing Kohli for 61 (44).
Maxwell then joined his captain and together they scored 115 runs in 50 deliveries for the second wicket. Mark Wood dismissed Maxwell for 59(29) in the final over, while Du Plessis was unblemished on 79.(46).
