Jasprit Bumrah is anticipated to return to action ahead of this year's Asia Cup in September, according to the most recent reports, which will provide an enormous boost to Team India's bowling lineup. Bumrah, who is recovering from a back ailment, is anticipated to participate in India's August tour of Ireland.

Jasprit Bumrah's hopes of playing for the Indian team in the T20 World Cup last year were dashed when the Australia series leading up to the ICC's main event aggravated his injury, causing him to miss the Asia Cup in 2022. The Indian pacer underwent back surgery, causing him to miss the entire IPL 2023 season for the Mumbai Indians and the World Test Championship Final at The Oval.

The Men in Blue have finally received some good news, as the star pacer is anticipated to travel to Ireland in August for India's three-match T20I series. Bumrah, who is presently recuperating at the NCA, will participate in the series as India prepares to reclaim the Asia Cup title in September prior to the crucial ODI World Cup.

"Jasprit Bumrah appears to be in excellent shape for the Ireland series in August of this year." It will be a tremendous boost for the Indian cricket team and will allow Bumrah to return to the middle after a lengthy injury layoff. If everything goes according to plan, Bumrah will likely take the field in optimum condition," an official told News18.

Earlier reports indicated that the Indian pacer was anticipated to return for India's Asia Cup 2023 campaign. However, an official revealed that Bumrah's rehabilitation has progressed effortlessly under the watchful eyes of Nitin Patel and S Rajnikanth, indicating the pacer's imminent return.

"During Bumrah's rehabilitation at the NCA, Nitin Patel and Rajnikanth have been working closely with him and keeping him on track. Both are very experienced and do not want to take any chances with Bumrah in a crucial white-ball year and at the beginning of a new World Test Championship cycle," the official added.
