IPL 2023 CSK vs LSG: Pitch report,Probable 11,Complete predictions
Chennai lost their opening game against Gujarat while Lucknow defeated Delhi Capitals.
On Monday, April 3, Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium for the first time in four years. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be the home team for the first time in four years. The Men in Yellow will play their first game of IPL 2023 against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at their Chepauk base.
CSK's first game of the new season was a bad one, as they lost to the Gujarat Titans (GT) by five runs. Even though Ruturaj Gaikwad had a great innings, the reigning champions stopped them with great bowling. Rajvardhan Hangargekar's three-fer on his debut also didn't help.
The Delhi Capitals (DC), on the other hand, were no match for LSG at home. Kyle Mayers's exciting hit in tough conditions for hitting got them off to a great start. Then, Mark Wood showed off how fast he could bowl by tearing through the DC batting order.
Right now, the Super Giants have a great net run rate of +2.5, so they will be sure to get two points. In the last game, the conditions in Lucknow were good for spin, at least for one or two balls, but they still attacked Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav with ease.
CSK, on the other hand, will hope that going back to their favorite den will help them get their first win of the new season. The stadium will probably be full to the brim, and LSG might not be used to the loud backing of the crowd.
