Watch: Crowd At Hyderabad Chant Kohli After No Ball Issue With Umpire
It wasn't a great show from the SRH crowd as well on Friday after they were left disappointed over no-ball call later in the innings
It was not one of their most remarkable batting performances at home, something that Sunrisers Hyderabad have rarely done in recent years. Only three batsmen scored more than 30 runs as SRH defeated Lucknow Super Giants with an average 182 for six on Friday. After Abhishek Sharma's rapid dismissal and Rahul Tripathi and Aiden Markram's inability to provide competent support, Anmolpreet Singh attempted to provide the ideal foundation. But after his dismissal for 36 off 27 balls, it was Heinrich Klaassen's 29-ball 47 that carried the hosts to their total.
Friday was not a wonderful day for the SRH crowd either, as they were left disappointed and enraged by a bizarre no-ball call late in the innings. It occurred in the nineteenth over when Avesh Khan delivered a high full toss delivery to Abdul Samad, whose pull shot resulted in an inside edge to his thighs. The on-field umpire called no ball, but LSG reviewed the decision. Samad and Klaasen were perplexed by the third umpire's decision reversal, which was based on the batter's minor crouch.
After a subsequent delivery, Klaasen was observed indicating towards the LSG dug out. He was still dissatisfied with the no-ball call, but this time the crowd got involved. Apparently, there was an altercation and an object was hurled at the LSG dug out.
The LSG players had risen to their feet, and head coach Andy Flower was on the ground, requiring the on-field umpires to halt the game as they ran towards the dugout. Soon, the SRH throng began chanting "Kohli, Kohli" as an ugly scene unfolded in Hyderabad.

The 'Kohli' refrain originated from an incident that occurred in Lucknow on May 1 involving the RCB star, Naveen-ul-Haq, and Gambhir of the LSG. The BCCI issued substantial fines to all three teams for violating the IPL Code of Conduct.
Klaasen was unimpressed with the crowd's participation, stating that it halted the team's momentum as they compromised for 182. "If I'm being honest, I'm disappointed with the audience; that's not what you want. Also not a fantastic call by the umpire," he remarked during the inter-innings conversation.
