The complete schedule for the 2023 Caribbean Premier League season has been released. The CPL 2023 will begin on the 16th of August and will conclude on the 24th of September. This is the third consecutive year that the CPL will conflict with The Hundred. The England competition will take place from August 1 through August 27.
In July and August, West Indies players participating in the CPL will play a series against India, which will enhance their workload. During its tour of the West Indies, India will compete in two Tests, three One-Day Internationals, and three Twenty20 Internationals. The tour will commence with the Test series and conclude with the final Twenty20 International on August 13.
Meanwhile, CPL will be held in five locations. Since 2019, Barbados will host CPL matches for the first time. In addition, matches will be played in St. Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots, Trinidad and Tobago, and Guyana. At each venue, the home team will be allowed to play four matches.
CPL Chief Executive Officer Pete Russell stated, "We are ecstatic to announce that CPL 2023 matches will take place in five nations. Through the CPL, fans will have a fantastic opportunity to experience cricket of the highest caliber. This is a great opportunity for the players to exhibit their style and talent."
