Shakib Al Hasan, Litton Das get NOC for GT20 Canada
Notably, Shakib will be available for the tournament from July 20 to July 29, while Litton will be available for selection for the entire tournament
Shakib Al Hasan and Litton Das have received the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) in order to participate in the third edition of the GT20 division in Canada. Notably, BCB frequently denies NOC to players in order to keep them involved in international cricket, as players found it difficult to participate in all Indian Premier League (IPL) and county championship matches.
Notably, Shakib will be accessible from July 20 to July 29, whereas Litton will be available for the duration of the tournament, which concludes on August 6. Jalal Yunus, the head of cricket operations in Bangladesh, verified the latest developments and stated that since there was no international match, the BCB had no problem granting them permission to play.
"Shakib's NOC to participate in the Global T20 League was approved, and he requested NOC from July 20 to July 29. Liton also leaves. He had requested that NOC perform from July 20 to August 6. Both of their NOCs were granted, Jalal was quoted by the Daily Star as saying.
"There is currently no national duty, and Shakib and Litton have been cleared to play after discussions with the head coach and administration. The competitive games they are able to play in this interval prior to the World Cup are advantageous for us," he added.

After the Canada GT20, Shakib Al Hasan will compete in the Sri Lanka Premier League.
Notably, following his participation in the GT20, Shakib Al Hasan will immediately travel to Sri Lanka to participate in the fourth iteration of the Lanka Premier League. After completing the competition, the senior cricketer will join the national team for the impending Asia Cup. Bangladesh will play Afghanistan and Sri Lanka on the road in Pakistan.
If they qualify for the subsequent round, the team will then travel to Sri Lanka for the remainder of the competition. Notably, the Asia Cup is currently scheduled to commence on August 31.
