However, there is no doubt that the rain gods have been wreaking havoc on the grounds in Sri Lanka, and with both teams due to face off in Colombo, it is likely that rain will once again interfere with the game.
According to Accuweather, there is an 84 percent chance of rain in the afternoon of September 12, with a 34 percent chance of thunderstorms at the start of the match.
Good news is that the forecast improves as the day progresses, with a 55 percent probability of rain, which could allow the game to begin.
