IND A vs PAK A Highlights: Rajvardhan Hangargekar Fifer,India Crushed Pakistan By 8 wickets

In the current ACC Men's Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023, pace sensation Rajvardhan Hangargekar utterly decimated Pakistan A's batting unit. In the fourth over of the match, the 20-year-old surpassed Saim Ayub and scored the first run. He later took the crucial wicket of Omair Yousuf, as Pakistan had a poor start to the game.

After initial difficulties, Qasim Akram provided Pakistan with much-needed momentum. However, Indian captain Yash Dhull summoned Hangargekar back into the attack, and he took the crucial wicket of Akram, who scored 48 runs. Later, the Indian pacer defeated Mohammad Wasim Jr. and Shahnaz Dahani to conclude his five-wicket performance.

India restricted Pakistan to 205 runs thanks to his phenomenal middle-order stint, and will now attempt to chase down the target. Manav Suthar is also deserving of praise for his skill with the ball. The 20-year-old took three wickets while conceding only 36 runs in ten overs, thereby playing a significant role in India limiting Pakistan to a chaseable total.

When it came time to pursue, Sai Sudharsan, a 21-year-old cricketer from Chennai, got off to a great start with the bat and eventually scored a magnificent century in Colombo. Despite losing his opening companion Abhishek Sharma relatively early, Sudharsan persisted in the same manner and was ultimately successful. Nikin Jose, who batted at number three, provided solid support in the middle as India chased down the target in 37 overs and won the match by eight wickets.

With the victory, India concluded as the league's top team and advanced to the competition's semifinals. Next, they will face Bangladesh on July 21 at R Premadasa in Colombo, and if they advance to the finals, they will play on July 23. Intriguingly, the brand of cricket India have played thus far, and the team's confidence in their ability to bring home the trophy.
