I've very less friends, only a couple of friends, and even with them I don't share everything, only a few things," said Shaw.

"I don't have friends, I don't like to make friends" Why Prithvi Shaw said

Young Indian batsman Prithvi Shaw is experiencing a difficult period in his career. Notably, he has demonstrated his value from an early age, winning the Under-19 World Cup as captain and making his international debut with a remarkable hundred in Test cricket.

Recently, the 23-year-old participated in the 2023 Duleep Trophy final between West Zone and South Zone at the M Chinnasamy Stadium in Bengaluru. In the first innings of the championship match, the West Zone batter scored a half-century, but he performed poorly in the final innings. Notably, the team led by Priyank Panchal lost by 75 runs to the South Zone.

Shaw was asked during a joint interview with Wisden and Cricbuzz about his perspective on being dismissed from a team. The batter responded that he was not informed of the cause for his dismissal from the Indian team. He added that he then attended the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, where he passed the majority of examinations, but was disappointed not to be selected for the West Indies tour.

"When I was cut from the Indian team, I was not informed of the reason. Someone stated that it may be fitness. But of course I came to Bengaluru, passed all the exams at the NCA, scored runs again, and returned to the T20 squad.

However, he was unsuccessful in the West Indies. I'm sorry, but you must simply proceed forward. I am powerless; I cannot engage in conflict with anyone. "As a person, I prefer to be in my own space," Shaw explained.

People say a great deal about me. But those who know me are aware of my nature. I don't have pals, I don't like to make friends. This is the current state of this generation. No one may share their opinions with you. If you ask me, it is extremely terrifying. Permit me to share my thoughts, please.

I'm hesitant to share my thoughts on social media because I'm afraid of being judged. All of it somehow appears on social media). I have only a few acquaintances, and even with them I don't share everything, just a few things," he added.
