However, one of the most discussed moments of the match occurred during the first innings when Imam-ul-Haq was bowled over by all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who was overheard whispering to the ball. 

Regarding the aforementioned matter, Pandya emerged to divulge his statement to the ball. "In order to bowl good, I essentially hurled insults at myself," the 29-year-old told Star Sports.Pandya concluded his spell by dismissing Mohammad Nawaz and Imam-ul-Haq for a total of two wickets. Pandya consequently surrendered 34 runs in the six overs that he bowled.
