GT registered their third win in IPL 2023
In match 18 of the Indian Premier League 2023 in Mohali, Gujarat Titans (GT) defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) by six wickets thanks to an all-round bowling performance and Shubman Gill's 67 off 49.

Rajapaksa (20 runs off 26 balls), Jitesh Sharma (25 runs off 23 balls), Shahrukh Khan (22 runs off nine balls), and Sam Curran (22 runs off 22 balls) enabled PBKS post a manageable total of 153/8 in 20 overs. In his return for GT, Mohit Sharma was outstanding, taking two wickets for 18 runs in four overs.
In pursuit of 154, the Titans' openers dominated Punjab bowlers during the powerplay, collecting 48 runs in 4.4 overs. However, Kagiso Rabada ended the partnership by selecting Wriddhiman Saha, his 100th victim in the IPL. In-form Sai Sudharsan joined Shubman Gill as the pair added 41 runs for the second wicket.
Arshdeep Singh ended the second-wicket partnership by dismissing Sudharsan for 19 off 20 balls. Harpreet Brar then terminated Hardik Pandya's brief innings by picking him off for eight runs. However, Gill kept the scoreboard moving by scoring his sixteenth fifty in the IPL. Together with David Miller, he added 42 runs to keep his team on track.
However, PBKS bowlers bowled some tight overs in the midst of the match, extending it to the final over. Curran dismissed Gill in the final over, leaving GT needing to score four runs off two deliveries. Rahul Tewatia concluded the game with a sweep over fine-leg to propel GT to victory.
