Asia Cup Super 4 match between India and Pakistan in Colombo was marred by inclement weather, but Virat Kohli and KL Rahul's performance against Pakistan on Monday left supporters awestruck. 

Kohli and Rahul, who resumed India's innings at 147/2 after 24.1 overs, made their intentions obvious immediately and kept the scoreboard moving swiftly. The duo then proceeded to smash their respective centuries and returned unbeaten with India's score at 356/2 after 50 overs. This is also India's joint-highest ODI total against Pakistan, matching their total of 356/9 against Pakistan in Vishakhapatnam in 2005.

Nine fours and three sixes were among Kohli's nine fours and 122 unbeaten runs off 94 deliveries. Rahul, who is playing his first match in six months after recovering from an injury, reached 111 not out off 106 deliveries. His stroke included 12 fours and 2 sixes.

The duo's unbeaten stand of 233 runs for the third wicket is the highest by any combination in the history of the Asia Cup. In addition, this is the best Indian partnership against Pakistan.
