India and Bangladesh are presently engaged in the third and final ODI of a series that has been surprisingly captivating. The women's team captained by Harmanpreet Kaur entered the series as the favourites, but they were dealt a devastating setback when they were defeated for the first time in an ODI by the home team. India recovered effectively to win the second one-day international and keep the series alive.

However, the performance continued as her opening companion, Fargana Hoque, was in dazzling form.

She made history with her century, as no other Bangladeshi woman had previously achieved a century in an ODI. The highest run scorer for Bangladesh in women's cricket reached the milestone after facing 156 balls. The right-handed batter launched a magnificent drive between the covers for a home run.
She was ultimately dismissed in the final over when she was run out off the final ball. Her innings totaled 107 runs off 160 balls, including seven boundaries.
