First Batter To Reach 7000 Runs In IPL: During the ongoing IPL 2023 match between RCB and DC, Virat Kohli became the first batsman in tournament history to set a record. The former RCB captain became the first batsman to score 7,000 runs in the IPL when he scored 12 runs in New Delhi.
Before this encounter, Kohli had scored 375 runs in 10 matches at an average of 45.50 and a strike rate of 137.87, placing him sixth in the IPL 2023 Orange Cap race.
