Pakistan and South Africa are sfacing in a pivotal ODI World Cup 2023 match at Chepauk on Friday, October 27.Prior to the match, both commanders announced a multitude of alterations to their starting lineups, including the exclusion of Hasan Ali and Usama Mir in favor of the returns of Mohammad Wasim Jr. and Mohammad Nawaz. Pacer Hasan was ruled out of this match by a fever, whereas customary South African captain Temba Bavuma made his return to the starting lineup following a two-game absence.
In addition to Tabraiz Shamsi and Lungi Ngidi, Reeza Hendricks, Kagiso Rabada, and Lizaad Williams were omitted from the squad. Due to a lower back spasm, Rabada was ruled out of this match as a precautionary measure, according to an update from Cricket South Africa (CSA). "Kagiso Rabada has been ruled out for today's match as a precautionary measure due to a lower back spasm," a statement from CSA stated.
