Streak represented Zimbabwe in 65 Tests and 189 ODIs, accumulating 1990 and 2943 runs, respectively. However, his skill with the ball distinguished him from the rest. With 216 Test wickets and 239 One-Day International wickets, he is Zimbabwe's all-time leader in both formats.
After her husband's passing, Nadine, Streak's wife, took to social media to express her condolences. "In the early hours of Sunday, September 3, 2023, the love of my life and the father of my beautiful children was carried to be with the angels from his home, where he desired to spend his final days surrounded by his family and closest friends.
He was covered in peace and affection, and he did not leave the park by himself. Streaky, our spirits are joined for all eternity. On her Facebook page, Nadine Streak wrote, "Until I hold you again."
Streak died on the Enthokozweni family property in Inyathi, Matabeleland North. His father also verified his passing.
