World Cup 2023: ICC bans Jarvo from attending further matches
India batter Virat Kohli was also spotted having a small conversation with Jarvo as he was being taken off during IND vs AUS match
Match 5 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is being played on Sunday, October 8 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, between India and Australia. The captain of Australia elected to bat first after winning the toss. In addition to the thrilling cricket action taking place on the pitch, the stadium audience was treated to the appearance of renowned pitch invader Jarvo during India's inaugural match of the World Cup.
The renowned English streaker rose to prominence in 2021 after repeatedly invading the ground during the England vs. India Test series in England. Once more, Jarvo established his presence by infiltrating the playing field while evading the ground personnel. Nevertheless, he was apprehended swiftly and removed from the field by the security staff. As Jarvo was being carried off, star batsman Virat Kohli was also observed having a brief conversation with him.
As per reports, his presence in the ongoing World Cup has come to an end, as he has been barred by the International Cricket Council (ICC) from participating in any subsequent matches of the tournament.
