In an exciting announcement for cricket fans, the cricket boards of England and Pakistan have guaranteed a thrilling four-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series to take place in May 2024. This match will serve as an exciting prelude to the highly anticipated 2024 men's T20 World Cup in the beautiful Caribbean.

The venues for this electrifying matchup have been strategically chosen to excite the passions of cricket supporters everywhere. The first game of this highly anticipated series will be contested in Leeds on May 22, followed by a game in Birmingham on May 25.

Then, on May 28, both teams will travel to Cardiff for the next match, followed by a scintillating match at The Oval on May 30.  Both teams will be attempting to gain momentum prior to their T20 spectacle in the Caribbean.

Pakistan, led by Babar Azam, will also face the Netherlands and Ireland in a series of five Twenty20 Internationals before taking on the T20 defending champions. The specifics of these contests will be revealed at a later date, but supporters can anticipate a display of cricketing brilliance as teams prepare diligently for the championship match.

Prior to the 2022 T20 World Cup, England and Pakistan engaged in a fiercely contested seven-match series in Pakistan. As a result, this forthcoming matchup between the two teams carries added significance. In their pursuit of victory, both teams left no stone unturned during the combat. England eventually prevailed by a narrow 4-3 margin and secured the T20 World Championship against the same opponents at Melbourne's iconic MCG. 

Women's teams from England and Pakistan will also engage in a bilateral contest.

Adding to the intensity, the women's teams from England and Pakistan will compete in their own riveting bilateral series at the same time. This series will consist of three T20Is and the same number of ODIs.

After the T20 extravaganza has concluded, England's men will transfer their focus to an exciting Test summer. They will host three Tests against the West Indies from 10 to 30 July, followed by the same number of Tests against Sri Lanka from 21 to 30 August.

Australia, currently engaged in the Ashes series, will travel to England in September 2024 for a series of white-ball matches, including three Twenty20 Internationals and five One-Day Internationals.
